Description

Join presenter and Green Resources Manager for Missouri Botanical Garden, Jean Ponzi, as she shares her perspectives as an expert with a 30+ year career in Missouri Botanical Garden’s EarthWays Center—the Garden’s sustainability division. Jean will share the results of a self-conducted experiment where she saved her household fossil flotsam (general garbage or anything unwanted) in a plastic bag for seven days to analyze the effect of how materials waste inside of the plastic. Jean will discuss the experiment’s results and ponder whether it’s possible to turn back from the “plastic tide” that litters our world’s water. And where we must deal with and forgive our limits to recycling action.
